Otto Nicodemus

Otto Nicodemus ( born June 21, 1886 in Biebrich, † December 2, 1966 ) was a German football player and philatelist.

The home club of stocky and awkward defense was the SV Wiesbaden. He was the only player of the club, who played one match. On April 4, 1909 he played in the German team, which defeated the Switzerland 1-0. He later played yet for the Freiburger FC.

Nicodemus fell to its good ball handling, but was also known for his powerful thrusts.

He had a doctorate and later became head of a laboratory.

Nicodemus was later also one of the most expert philatelists in Germany, an avid collector and appraiser. The German Philatelic Federation awarded him the highest honors.
