Otto Veraguth

Otto Veraguth ( born May 13, 1870 in Chur, † December 17, 1944 in Zurich ) was a Swiss neurologist and promoter of sports medicine and physical therapy.

Life

After attending school in Chur, he studied medicine in Zurich and Heidelberg. Veraguth doctorate in 1895 in Zurich, where he in 1900, after several years in which he prakizierte and further formed to a neurologist, was also his habilitation. From 1918-1940 he worked and conducted research as a professor of physical therapy at the University of Zurich on methods of naturopathy. From 1922 to 1924 Veraguth was president of the Swiss Neurological Society.
