Oussama Assaidi ( born August 15, 1988 in Beni Boughafar ) is a Moroccan football player. Since the 2012/13 season, he is under contract at Liverpool, but played the 2013/14 season on loan at Stoke City. He plays preferably on the outside left.

Career

Assaidi began his professional career in the Dutch Eerste Divisie FC Omniworld in Almere. After two years he moved to the Eredivisie to De Graafschap Doetinchem, with which he descended to the end of the season. To re- rise of superboeren he contributed five goals in as many games in, but moved to the ascent to the Frisian Ehrendivisionär sc Heerenveen. In the season 2010/11 he was particularly impressed with the match against FC Twente in December 2010, the Heerenveen won with 6:2. He scored three goals themselves, prepared two ago and picked out the penalty for the sixth hit. Its consistently good season performance led to the appointment to the Moroccan national team, for whom he scored his first goal in a 4-0 victory against Algeria in the African Cup of Nations qualifying match on June 4, 2011.

On August 17, 2012 Assaidi was committed by the Premier League club Liverpool. On August 27, 2013 he was loaned to the end of the season at Stoke City.
