The Oust is a river in France, in the region of Brittany. Its source is located in the municipality of Corlay. The Oust drained generally southeast and crosses the departments of Côtes- d'Armor, Morbihan and Ille -et -Vilaine. It ends after 145 kilometers in Saint- Jean-la -Poterie, just below Redon, as a right tributary of the Vilaine. The river section of Rohan to Redon is channeled and navigable as part of the Canal de Nantes à Brest. The channel but is now used only for tourists of sports and houseboats.
