Over-the-top content

The term over-the -top content (OTT ) refers to the free on-line transmission of video and audio content without an Internet service provider is involved in the control or distribution of the content.

To access a registry for content on the platform is usually not necessary. The contents are often provided by large media companies such as NBC Universal and News Corp and the associated individual transmitters. The offer thus represents an alternative to the popular Internet video portals dar.
