Overland Track

The Overland Track is one of Australia's most remote hiking trails, situated in the Cradle Mountain - Lake St. Clair National Park on the island of Tasmania.

The track extends over a length of 74 km through the Tasmanian Wilderness from Cradle Mountain to Lake St. Clair. The route leads through the Tasmanian highlands, passing Tasmania's highest mountain, Mt Ossa (1617 m). Depending on the equipment and the weather is to deal with the track in about five to seven days. Due to the great popularity of a booking system was introduced in 2007.
