Özgür İleri

Özgür İleri (born 17 November 1987 in Izmir) is a Turkish footballer who plays for Gençlerbirliği Ankara.

Career

Çanakkale Dardanelspor

Özgür İleri began playing football in the youth of Metaspor and then switched to the youth of Çanakkale Dardanelspor 2003. In 2006, he signed a professional contract with his club and was part of the professional team. In his first season he came to a total of 15 League Appearances for the professional team. The breakthrough for regular players he managed in his second season. With his team he the rise in de first Lig succeeded in the 2008 /09 season ( second highest league of Turkey). Here the team did not make the league, so they played in the second Lig after a season. Also in the second Lig could not hold the class.

Gençlerbirliği

As a result of the descent of two leagues Çanakkale Dardanelspor could not hold many players. Özgür İleri moved together with his teammates Ferhat Kaplan and Sakib Aytaç to the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği.
