Pacific Beach, San Diego

Pacific Beach is a coastal farm district of San Diego, 10 kilometers north of San Diego Downtown. It has about 40,000 inhabitants and is bordered to the South Mission Beach, on the north by La Jolla and on the east by Clairmont. The main street in Pacific Beach, the Garnet Avenue, opens into the Crystal Pier was built in 1927, on which there is a hotel. The district is known for its surfing scene, which can be observed on the beaches tourmalines and Law Street.
