Page and Plant

Page & Plant is a project of two former members of the band Led Zeppelin.

In summer 1994, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant came together in London for a television appearance in the series MTV Unplugged. This old Led Zeppelin pieces with Arabic musicians and the London Metropolitan Orchestra were recorded rearranged. The general response to the broadcast of the corresponding MTV show, titled No Quarter - Unledded was so positive that one of the MTV shooting an official CD ( Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - No Quarter ) issued. Followed in 2004 to the DVD Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - No Quarter Unledded.

It developed a further cooperation between the two ex- Led Zeppelin band members, which enables it 1995/1996 was a successful year-long world tour with 115 concerts, including in Munich's Olympic Stadium, and on 26 July 1995 at London's Wembley Arena where the former manager of Led Zeppelin, Peter Grant, was in the audience.

In 1997, they took together on the studio album Walking Into Clarksdale, which was not a commercial success.
