Pak Song-chol (footballer born 1987)

Pak Song - chol (born 24 September 1987) is a North Korean football player.

Career

Pak has performed internationally as a player of the sports group Rimyongsu in appearance.

The midfielder took part in 2007 with the North Korean U -20 team at the Junior World Championships in 2007 in Canada, and came in all three group matches against Panama, Czech Republic and Argentina used. In October 2007, he played for the North Korean national team in the two Erstrundenpartien the World Cup qualifiers against Mongolia in March 2008 was added a further WC Qualifiers use against South Korea.

In 2008, he played with a B- selection of the national team in the AFC Challenge Cup. With six goals, he secured the title of top scorer (2 matches against Sri Lanka, 1 against Nepal, hat-trick against Myanmar), to win the tournament it was not enough after a 0-1 defeat in the semi-final against Tajikistan. In 2010 he took over as captain again part with the B- team of North Korea at the AFC Challenge Cup. In this edition, the East Asians put through in the final against Turkmenistan and qualified by winning this tournament for the Asian Cup. Pak again scored two goals ( one against Kyrgyzstan, 1 against Myanmar).

With the North Korean Olympic team (U -23), 2007 he failed in the final qualifying round for the 2008 Olympic Games, in 2009, he finished with the Olympic team at the East Asian Games in Hong Kong the fourth. Pak, scoring two goals in the tournament and also met in the two lost a penalty shoot his team.
