The Palais des Sports is a sports hall in Grenoble (France ), which is primarily used for ice hockey. It has a capacity of 12,000 spectators and was opened to the 1968 Olympic Winter Games.
Use
The Palais de Sports was during the 1968 Olympic Winter Games venue for the Olympic Hockey Tournament in 1972 and 1981 also found the Indoor Athletics Championships in Arena. At the finals of the European Basketball European Cup 1979, a new record for attendance was set up in the stadium with 15,000 spectators. In 1983, the Palais des Sports was again Finalort this competition, as well as the Davis Cup in 1983.
