Palatine Forest Mountain Bike Park

The Mountain Bike Park Palatinate Forest is a route network for mountain bikes in the center of the Palatinate Forest and was opened in April 2005.

Route network

The signposted routes vary in difficulty and are suitable for both sports as well as for leisure.

  • Tour 1 from Rodalben railway station, 54 km, of which 9.8 km single-trail,
  • Tour 2 from the forest Fischbach railway station, 48 km, of which 6.8 km single-trail,
  • Tour 3 from Schopp railway station, 67 km, of which 9.7 km single-trail,
  • Tour 4 from the high Speyer railway station, 64 km, 14.3 km single-trail,
  • Tour 5 from the train station Lambrecht (Pfalz ), 74 km, 12.5 km single trail.

Sponsorship

The Palatinate Forest hiking, consisting of the Association of Municipalities of Kaiserslautern -Süd, Lambrecht (Pfalz ), Rodalben, Forest Fischbach Castle albums and high Speyer has planned and implemented the project in collaboration with the State Forestry Administration and the University of Kaiserslautern.

The administration of the mountain Palatinate Forest is now carried out over the municipality Kaiserslautern -Süd.
