Pálháza

Pálháza is a town in Borsod -Abaúj -Zemplén and is currently (2008 ) is the smallest city in Hungary after residents.

Geographical Location

Pálháza is located in north -eastern Hungary, 87 kilometers from county capital Miskolc, in Hegyköz, a valley in Sempliner Mountains. Neighboring municipalities are Bózsva 3 km, Filkeháza 2 km, 2 km and Füzérradvány Kishuta 7 km.

Economy and Transport

In the municipality perlite is mined, which is used mainly in the construction industry. Built in 1888 forest train runs today as the forest train to Rostalló about Schlosshotel Kőkapu ( former hunting lodge Károlyi ).
