Pali Miska

Pali Miska (* 1931 in Korçë ) is a former Albanian politician of the partia e puNES e Shqipërisë ( PPSh ).

Biography

Miska was initially employed as a party functionary in the business sector and was last in 1966 Director of Fusha - Arezi, the largest Albanian state enterprise for timber production.

In 1970, he was first to the deputies of the National Assembly ( Kuvendi Popullor ) and was chosen this. From the seventh to the end of the eleventh legislature until 1991

In 1971, he became the candidate of the Central Committee ( CC) selected the PPSh and at the same time appointed the First Party Secretary in Puka district in the north of the country.

In September 1975 he was elected to succeed the deposed Koço Theodhosi without prior candidate status directly to the member of the Politburo of the PPSh and also a member of the Central Committee. He held until resolution of the PPSh and the founding of Partia Socialiste e Shqipërisë in June 1991 this function. He was subsequently appointed as the successor of Simon Stefani November 22, 1982 to February 19, 1987 Chairman of the National Assembly and thus Parliament President. Following him Petro Dode followed as the new Chairman of the National Assembly. In this capacity he took part in April 1985, the state funeral for the late First Secretary of the PPSh Enver Hoxha.
