Palić Lake

The Palic ( Serbian Cyrillic Палићко језеро, Croatian Palićko Lake, Hungarian: Palicsi -tó, German outdated: Palitsch Lake) is about 6 km ² large natural lake in the far north of Serbia. It was named after the town of Palic, which is the biggest and the only city on the shore of the lake. The Palic Lake is a recreational area for the residents of just eight kilometers from Subotica. Seine river length is 17 km, the maximum depth of 3.5 m. The lake is 101 meters above sea level.
