Palinurus mauritanicus

The pink spiny lobster (Palinurus mauritanicus ) can be found in the eastern Atlantic from western Ireland to southern Senegal and also occurs in the western Mediterranean. In the Adriatic, it is, however, not represented. She lives on rocky bottoms, coral substrates and muddy bottoms in water depths 180-600 meters. In the western Mediterranean, it is most commonly found between 400 and 500 meters.
