Palisse

Palisse ( palica in Occitan ) is a commune of 235 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Gorges de la Haute Dordogne.

Geography

The village is located in the Massif Central from the south Millevaches Plateau and the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin, near the Triouzoune a right tributary of the Dordogne.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 55 kilometers south-west, Ussel about 20 kilometers north-east and Égletons about 17 km south-west slightly.

Neighboring communities of Palisse are Saint-Angel in the north, Valiergues in the northeast, Chirac -Bellevue in the east, in the southeast Neuvic, Lamazière -Basse in the south, the west and Darnets Combressol in the northwest.

Traffic

The village is located about 15 km southwest slightly junction 23 of the A89 autoroute.
