Palma Nova

Palma Nova is part of the municipality of Calvià and is situated in the bay of Palma, about 15 kilometers west of Palma de Mallorca, on the seafront. In 2011, Palma Nova had 7017 inhabitants. Palma Nova is visited as many places in the western bay of Palma from numerous British tourists.

In the east, joins the village of Portals Nous, a meeting point of many rich and prominent holiday with mostly upscale tourist offers in the number of resorts along the coast next to Palma Nova, in the west it is the place Magaluf, also a stronghold of British tourists.

In the area of Palma Nova, the two beaches of Platja Carregador and Platja Son Maties, which combines a long beach promenade.
