Pamela Cornell

Pamela " Pam " Cornell is a former British film designer and prop master, who was nominated once for an Academy Award for Best Production Design.

Life

Pamela Cornell worked in 1959 as a production designer in producing a film with, and indeed in the thriller Malaga ( Moment of Danger ) by László Benedek with Trevor Howard, Dorothy Dandridge and Edmund Purdom and in the love comedy The Millionairess (The Millionairess ) by Anthony Asquith with Peter Sellers, Sophia Loren and Vittorio de Sica.

At the Academy Awards in 1971, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Production Design in Scrooge ( 1970) by Ronald Neame, with Albert Finney, Alec Guinness and Edith Evans in the lead roles along with Terence Marsh and Robert Cartwright. Film was created by Charles Dickens ' A Christmas Carol.
