Pami

Pami, also Pemu, was an Egyptian pharaoh (king) of the 22nd Dynasty ( Third Intermediate Period ). His reign is around 825/813 bis 816/804 to put BC.

Family

Pami is the third son and successor of Sheshonk III. and the Tanetamunipet. He is the father of his successor Sheshonk V., brother of the Crown Prince and Regent of Athribis and Heliopolis, Bakennefi II. Brothers are more Paschedbastet, Takelot II and Padebehenbastet, High Priest of Amun at Tanis.

Documents

Maybe Pami is attested by a statue of a leader of the group Meshwesh - Libyans, Pamiu, son of the Lord of the Two Lands, Sheshonk - Meriamun in Sais before his reign. On a stele of the Serapeum from the 2nd year Pamis the death of the old and the establishment of a new Apisstieres is handed down. The Broolyner oracle papyrus is probably attributable to his government. On a votive stele of Memphis the 6th year is called as the highest of his government. Structurally Pami is very little witness (not at all in Thebes).

His grave

He was buried probably in grave II of the royal necropolis of Tanis.
