Pamukova

Pamukova is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Sakarya. The village is located about 35 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital of Adapazarı.

The district is located in the southwest of the province. It is bordered on the northeast by Sapanca, in the east and south by Geyve, on the southwest by the province of Bursa and to the northwest by the province of Kocaeli. The city and county crosses the highway D -650, which runs coming from Antalya on the Mediterranean about Burdur, Afyonkarahisar and Kütahya to by Karasu on the Black Sea. Along the southern border, the river flows Sakarya, which flows north into the Black Sea. Due to the north of the district, a part of the mountain range Samanli Dağları pulls. To the west lies the reservoir Hüseyinli Göleti.

By Pamukova a section of the Anatolian Railway Adapazarı runs to Eskisehir. At the village Mekece in the south of the county on 22 July 2004, the railway accident occurred Mekece.
