Pan American Hockey Federation

The Pan American Hockey Federation ( PAHF short ) is the American Hockey continental federation. It consists of 26 members. He is a member of the World Hockey Association FIH and directed various continental competition for women 's and men's national teams, especially the American Continental Cup Pan American Cup.

History

The PAHF was founded under the name Pan American Field Hockey Federation (Brief description PFHF ) on 17 October 1959. The first president was J. William Middendorf (USA), the first vice- president George Parsons ( Argentina), after the George Parsons Trophy is named. The founding members were Argentina, Bermuda, Jamaica, Netherlands Antilles and the United States.
