Pan-Green Coalition

The Pan - Green Coalition (Chinese泛绿 联盟/泛绿 联盟, Pinyin Fànlǜ Lianmeng ) or the Pan - Green camp (Chinese泛绿 阵营/泛绿 阵营, Pinyin Fànlǜ Zhenying ) is an informal coalition of parties in the Republic of China on Taiwan, consisting of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP ), the Taiwanese solidarity Union ( TSU) and the minor Taiwan independence Party ( TAIP ). The name of the coalition comes from the green flag designed in the DPP. In contrast to the pan-blue coalition, the pan-green coalition supports Taiwan's formal independence.
