Panamerican Championship

The Pan American football championship was comparable to the Copa America Championship for national football teams from North, Central and South America, which was held three times in 1952-1960. The event was founded in 1946, the Pan American Football Confederation, who has now no more have appeared.

The competition, not to be confused with the football tournament as part of the Pan-American Games, in 1952 and 1956 played with six, and in 1960 with four participants. Has been played in league format in a simple round of FFA in each case in a city. 1960 entered the teams twice against each other. The criteria for participation are unknown. The national football team of Brazil won the first two editions were held in Chile and Mexico. The national football team of Argentina won the third tournament in Costa Rica.
