Pandora's Box (band)

Pandora 's Box was a female rock band that was formed by Jim Steinman in 1989 with some members of his former band Fire Inc.. They released a concept album, "Original Sin ".

Members of the band were the singers Elaine Caswell, Ellen Foley, Gina Taylor and Deliria Wilde. There were also a musician Jim Steinman (keyboards), Roy Bittan ( piano ), Jeff Bova (keyboards, synthesizer), Jim Bralower (drums), Eddie Martinez ( guitar) and Steve Buslowe ( guitar).

Ellen Foley had worked with Steinman already in Meat Loaf's debut album Bat out of Hell, Deliria Wilde was the lead singer of Fire Inc. This group was put together by two Steinman songs for the soundtrack to the movie The roads contribute in flames ( Nowhere Fast, Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young ).

Jim Steinman intended to send Pandora 's Box on tour, with only one female singing voice should be prominent and the others should sing in the background. The tour was never realized by the commercial failure of the album.

The song " It Just Will not Quit" and " Good Girls Go To Heaven " appeared on the 1993 Meat Loaf album Bat out of Hell II: Back Into Hell. The title song "Original Sin " was the 1995 album "Welcome to the Neighbourhood " recorded and released by him, the melody is also the main theme of Steinman musical Dance of the Vampires. Two more songs ( " It's All Coming Back To Me Now" and "The Future Is not What It Used To Be " ) were on his 2006er album Bat out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose published.
