Pangantucan, Bukidnon

Pangantucan is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Bukidnon on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has 48 775 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 19 barangays. It belongs to the first class of income communities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.

Your neighboring municipalities are Talakag in the north, Valencia City in the northeast, Maramag, Don Carlos in the east and in the south Kadingilan. Kalilangan lies in the west. The municipality of Wao in Lanao del Sur province and Banisilan in Proninz Cotabato to the south west. The community is located about 75 km southeast of the provincial capital Malaybalay City and approximately 167 km south of the regional capital of Cagayan de Oro.

The topography of the municipality is dominated in the north of the mountain range of Kalatungan, which rises up to 2,824 meters. The southern part of the township is described as sanfthügelig.

As one of the main tourist attractions of the Mount applies Kalatungan Range Natural Park. At the foot of the Natural Park is the 36 -acre Napalit Lake, appearing on the small depending on wind direction and wind strength and islands will be flooded again.
