Panské Dubenky

Panské Dubenky ( German Herrndubenken ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is 20 kilometers northeast of Hradec Jindřichův and belongs to Okres Jihlava.

Geography

Panské Dubenky is located northwest of Javořická Highlands, the highest part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The town is located on a creek hill between the valleys of the Hamerský and Doubravský creek. North of the village leads the railway from Jindřichův Hradec over after Pelhřimov / Jihlava, the nearest railway station is at Horni Vilimec.

Neighboring towns are Horni Vilimec in the north, Býkovec in the northeast, Klatovec in the east, Horni poles in the southeast, Domašín in the south, and Doubrava Zahrádky the southwest, Horni Olešná in the west and Prosty in the northwest.

History

The first mention of lying on the border with Bohemia Moravian village dates from the year 1355th The estate was a Vladikensitz. At the end of the 17th century the estate was made after the death of Anna Strahovsky of Dubenky to the Knights of Hoslau.
