Panzerbär

The Panzerbär was a front of the Berlin newspaper "German publishing house " (formerly Ullsteinhaus publisher). This newspaper was issued in the last days of World War II during the Battle of Berlin and was the last newspaper, which appeared during the Nazi era in Berlin. The first of seven editions (all editions published without serial numbers ) appeared on April 23, 1945. From then on, this newspaper was daily -sized and edited to an extent of four pages to 29 April 1945.

As the editor calls the " Panzerbär " in its first edition, the PK " Panzerbär " b. Commander d Vert Ber. Berlin, then only still referred to as service Fp.-Nr. 67 700 The headline read: The Panzerbär - BATTLE SHEET FOR THE DEFENSE OF GREAT - BERLIN.

  • Hostilities from various districts
  • Women in the front line (HVAC )
  • HJ- battle group to the high road
  • Detector is in ruins
  • Volunteer units of the SS fighting in Berlin ( French, Norwegian, Danish, Flemish, Dutch )
