Paola Cavalieri

Paola Cavalieri ( born 1950 ) is an Italian philosopher. She is the initiator of the Great Ape Project, claims for the fundamental rights of primates.

Life

Together with the Australian philosopher Peter Singer published Cavalieri the reader human rights for great apes: The Great Ape Project. The authors denounce it to the view of human beings to see themselves as the crown of creation.
