Paolo Tornaghi

Paolo Tornaghi ( born June 21, 1988 in Garbagnate Milanese) is an Italian football goalkeeper who is under contract with the Chicago Fire SC.

Club career

Paolo Tornaghi began his career at Inter Milan, where he played for several years in various youth teams and various titles won, including the Coppa Italia Primavera in 2006, the Campionato Primavera 2007 and the Torneo di Viareggio 2008. During the season 2005/ 06 he was in Inter Primavera though mainly reserve goalkeeper behind Giacomo Bindi, while Tornaghi was replaced in the 2007/ 08 season by Vid Belec as a goalkeeper.

In the season 2004/ 05 he was for the first time in the squad for the Champions League qualification as a player of the B- list. For the season 2008/ 09 Tornaghi signed a professional contract and was awarded to the Italian third division side Calcio Como, where, although he held a regular place, but could collect their first competitive match practice. In the season 2009/10 he was one of the cadre of the third division side AC Rimini 1912, who acquired a part of the transfer rights to Tornaghi on. After just one season, and two uses Tornaghi returned to Inter Milan, but was loaned same again Como Calcio.

In the season 2011/12 he was first back to the A-team of Inter. In the Milanese, he was a goalkeeper but only after the election and came to no use in the A- Team, but graduated a few games for the youth team of the Nerazzurri. After the MLS team Chicago Fire SC in January 2012 had shown interest in Tornaghi, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement with Inter and Tornaghi signed at The Fire.

National

Between 2003 and 2007 belonged to Tornaghi various youth teams of Italy, for which he played a total of four games.
