Papyrus 80

Papyrus 80 ( Gregory- Aland Sigel 80 referred ) is a early Greek copy of the New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript contains parts of John's gospel. It has been preserved only the verse 3.34. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 3rd century.

The Greek text probably representative of the Alexandrian text-type, but the text is too short to determine its text character. Aland placed it in Category I because of his age.

The manuscript was kept in the Fundación Sant Lluc Evangelista ( Inv. no 83) in Barcelona and is now in Abadia de Montserrat under the signature P. Barc. 83
