Papyrus 87

(Referred to Gregory- Aland Sigel 87) Papyrus 87 is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript is the oldest known document of Philemonbriefes. Have been preserved verses 13-15 and 24-25. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the late 2nd or early 3rd century.
The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type (or a proto- Alexandrian ). Aland described him as a "normal text" and placed it in Category I.
The manuscript is in the Institute of Archaeology at the University of Cologne under the signature P. Col. theol. 12 kept.
