Papyrus 99
(Referred to Gregory- Aland Sigel 99) Papyrus 99 is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. Using palaeography, it was dated to the 4th or 5th century.
Description
It is a papyrus manuscript of the Pauline epistles contain:
- Romans 1:1;
- 2 Corinthians 1:3-6; 1.6 to 17; 1.20 to 24; 2:1-9; 2.9 to 5.13; 5.13 to 6.3; 6.3 to 8.13; 8.14 to 22; 9.2 to 11.8; 11.9 to 23; 11.26 to 13.11;
- Galatians 1.4 to 11; 1.18 to 2.4; 2.4 to 3.19; 3.19 to 4.9;
- Ephesians 1.4 to 2.21; 1.22 (?); 3.8 to 6.24.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type.
