Parent-Teacher Association

The Federal Parents (BER ) is a federally organized representation of parents of all school types. Unlike in the national education legislation specifically legitimized parental representations of the BER is a voluntary Association of State Parents' Associations in the Federal Republic of Germany. It supports the parents' representatives in the countries in the adoption of their school participation rights and co-ordinates the school parental involvement at the federal level. Chairman Hans -Peter Vogeler from Hamburg since May 2009. The Federal Parents has formed school-type -specific committees for vocational schools ( vocational schools, business schools and vocational high schools ), comprehensive schools, elementary schools, high schools, primary schools, secondary schools and special schools.
