Parux
Parux is a commune with 77 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle in the Lorraine region; it belongs to the district Luneville and Canton Cirey- sur- Vezouze.
Geography
Parux located 30 kilometers east of Luneville on the edge of the Vosges Mountains at an altitude 279-403 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.38 km ². The site is adjacent to the Forêt de Grande domaniale Chêneau.
History
Parux was badly damaged in World War I, and had to be rebuilt after 1918 again.

The municipality is located away from busy roads, the next connection is the D20 in Montreux, or Nonhigny about 3-4 km to the west. The nearest community Bréménil in about 2 km to the south leads a small side street.
