Pascal Bedrossian
Pascal Bedrossian ( born November 28, 1974 in Marseille ) is a retired French- Armenian football player. He played 115 games in the first French league and seven in the MLS.
Career
Born in Marseille Bedrossian showed in his youth great footballing talent, as he was having trouble in school. However, since the urban club Olympique Marseille was out of reach for him, he started his career at AS Cannes. Under coach Luis Fernández made his debut in the second division. In 1993 they had with the team's ascent. Already during the first season in the Premier League came Bedrossian thanks to its versatility on the offensive on 16 missions. The team succeeded in avoiding relegation and the following season he was charged with 25 inserts into a significant part of the team. In the following years he suffered, however, more and more under the strong competition, consisting of players like Laurent Leroy and Samassi Abou. He therefore left 1997 AS Cannes, with whom he had reached four times in a row in the league. Bedrossian signed for Stade Rennes, but came up with only six missions due to the lack of confidence from his coach Guy David there. In 1998 he went therefore to Lorient, where he was to work together with Ali Bouafia as a playmaker. As a result, there was only one year later, the relegation to the second division. Due to injury, he came in the 2000 /01 season on only four bets. The team still managed to rise again and at the end of the following season, there was indeed to re- descent, but also to collect the cup final. Bedrossian stood up to his substitution in the 84th minute on the field and was so involved in the 1-0 final victory of his team against SC Bastia. In 2004 he moved to Angers SCO. With this club he managed the club from his hometown, Olympique Marseille to beat in the Cup competition. For a year he moved to the United States to the Chicago Fire SC, where he injured hardly used. Then he let his career end with a unterklassigen club. In 2010 he was an assistant coach at Miami FC.
