Pascal Canfin

Pascal Canfin ( born August 22, 1974 in Arras ) is a French politician (Europe Écologie -Les Verts ).

Canfin visited the Institute of Political Studies in Bordeaux and was master in the course of European Studies at the University of Newcastle. From 2004 to 2009 he was a business journalist at Alternatives économiques.

Canfin of 2005 had chaired the Economic Committee of the French countryside until 2008. From 2009 to 2012, he was a member of the European Parliament. He finished it third place in the list of the party in the constituency Europe Écologie Ile- de -France behind Daniel Cohn -Bendit and Eva Joly.

Since May 16, 2012 he has been Deputy Minister of Development in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Laurent Fabius, Member of the French Government Ayrault.
