Pascal Comelade

Pascal Comelade (* June 30, 1955 in Montpellier ) is a French- Catalan composer and instrumentalist. He has attained as a film composer special significance.

After living several years in Barcelona, ​​he published in 1975 his first album Fluence, which was influenced by electronic music and the French band Heldon. Later, he turned increasingly to acoustic music, where he, his compositions often on toy instruments, especially the children piano playing. His minimalist but expressive pieces are usually highly stressed rhythm and often have tango and waltz rhythms.
