Pascoal Mocumbi

Pascoal Mocumbi ( * 1941 ) is a Mozambican politician and physician.

Mocumbi was between 1987 and 1994 Minister of Health and Minister for Foreign Trade in Mozambique and 1994-2004 Prime Minister of the country. He left this position - was succeeded by Luisa Diogo - to run for the office of Director General of the World Health Organization, but was not elected.

Currently, Pascoal Mocumbi Director of the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP ), Europe of partnership and developing countries for clinical trials.
