Pasquale Cajano

Pasquale Cajano ( born August 19, 1921 as Pasquale Cagiano; † 24 October 2000) was an Italo- American actor. After playing two cameo appearances in Scorsese films The Age of Innocence and Where Evil Lies, his friend Martin Scorsese cast him in 1995 for his film Casino for the role of mob boss Remo Gaggi, a character based on the real figure Joseph Aiuppa, boss of the Chicago outfit is based.

After Casino, Cajano played small roles in Big Night, Sleepers and The Impostors. Cajano then played opposite Robert De Niro in the hit comedy Analyze This with. Pasquale Cajano was also known as an employee in the Italian Communications Network radio ( www.icnradio.com ).

The age of 79 he died in 2000 from prostate cancer.
