Pat Aherne
Patrick Aherne ( born January 6, 1901 in Kings Norton in Worcestershire, England; † September 30, 1970 in Woodland Hills in Los Angeles ) was a British actor.
Life
Patrick Aherne was the son of William de Lacey Aherne (1870-1945) and Louise Thomas (1871-1944), as well as the brother of Elana Aherne and actor Brian Aherne (1902-1986) of the actress Joan Fontaine (1917-2013 ) was married. By his marriage with Renee Houston (1902-1980), he was also a brother of Billie Houston. Aherne starred in the 1920s to the 1950s in about 70 films, where he was first a big star of the British film, his career, but lost in America in small supporting roles.
