Pat Halcox

Patrick John Pat Halcox ( born March 18, 1930 in Chelsea, London, † February 4, 2013 ) was a British jazz musician (trumpet and vocals).

Halcox who had early piano lessons and played during his time in the military trumpet, appeared in the early 1950s with the Brent Valley Jazz Band and the Albermarle Jazz Band. From 1954 to 2008 he was a trumpeter for the band of Chris Barber. In addition, he also sang, for example, Ice Cream, one of the most famous classics of the band. He also served in the 1970s and 1980s, the Pat Halcox All-Stars.
