Pat Roy Mooney

Pat R. Mooney ( b. 1947 ) is a Canadian development workers and technology critic.

Until 2002, Mooney employed in the organization Rural Advancement Fund International ( RAFI ) with the socio -economic impact of modern technologies on rural communities. Since 2001, the group operates under the name of ETC Group ( Action Group on Erosion, Technology and Concentration) on nutrition-related issues of technology assessment with offices in Canada, USA, Mexico and the UK and partners throughout the world.

His current research focus is the technology implications of nanotechnology.
