Pat Travers

Pat Travers ( born April 12, 1954 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian blues-rock guitarist.

Biography

Pat Travers began already to play guitar at age 12. Pat Travers fascinated and inspired artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton. The required electric guitar, in the form of a Gibson Les Paul, he had soon gained. Very early Travers played in bands. " Red Hot " was the name of his first band.

Equipment

Pat Travers plays a double-cutaway 's 1983 " Les Paul ", including Kahler vibrato and EMG pickups. He has next to this guitar another Gibson models. At home, he mostly plays a pink colored 1986 Fender Reissue Stratocaster, which he also like the Les Paul umrüstete on EMG pickups. The Stratocaster is also responsible for most of the " Clean sound parts" in his songs, as he the clean sound of the Stratocaster like better than the Les Paul.
