Patagonian Expedition Race

The Patagonian Expedition Race is an annual adventure race in Chilean Patagonia, that southernmost after Antarctica and Tierra del Fuego region of the earth. International participants will compete in mixed teams of four athletes in the disciplines of sea kayaking, orienteering, mountain biking and rope topics including knot tying.

Since the first edition of the 2004 race distances of 520 km were to be completed up to 1100 km in nine to twelve days. Only approved tools, in addition to physical fitness and psychological strength are to find a compass and map to the path through the beautiful but deserted landscapes of Patagonia.
