Patrick Bick

Patrick Bick ( born March 12, 1977 in Illingen (Saar) ) is a former German football player.

Career

Bick began playing football VfB Hüttigweiler. At 14, he joined the SV Rot - Weiß Hasborn. For Hasborn he played in the Youth B, the A- youth and later in the fifth division.

In 1998 he moved to the then first division side FC Saarbrücken. After half a year in Saarbrücken, he was loaned out during the winter break of the season 1998/99 to FC 08 Homburg. Sporty he made with the team in the league in the Regionalliga West / Southwest. However, the club was forcibly transferred for financial irregularities and claimed bankruptcy in the Oberliga West.

Bick left out Homburg and went to the South division side SV Elversberg. He succeeded in his first season, 1999/2000 to qualify for the two-tier Regionalliga. Bick remained four years in Elversberg.

For the season 2003/ 04 Bick moved to the Regional rivals FC Augsburg, but remained here only half a year. In January 2004 he went to Eintracht Braunschweig in the Regionalliga Nord. With Braunschweig, he rose at the end of the 2004/ 05 season as a winner in the 2nd Bundesliga. In his first year second division Bick graduated 30 games, scoring eight goals. DC on the opening day of the following season 2006/07 Bick seriously injured. He had to undergo surgery twice, pause, six months, and was only able to intervene again in late February. He came to the rest of the season still to eight inserts and had to finish the season with the team descend as Table in the Regionalliga.

After the descent of the Brunswick Bick moved to second division Movers Wehen. Here he took over the same role of a guide and pushed the player -budgetary Wehen captain Sascha Amstätter from his regular place. At the end of the season, he finished with contractions in eighth place in the table. Overall, he came up with 27 missions and scored two goals. His first hit was on the first round of the 3-2 winning goal against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In the following season Bick only played six times for the first team and went with Wiesbaden as Table from the 2nd Bundesliga from.

For the 2009/10 season Bick moved to RB Leipzig in the league. As a regular player, he rose as league champions on to the Regionalliga. In the first half of the following Regional he came only three missions in the first team and joined in mid-January 2011 on the SSV Markranstadt. Here he ended his active career in June 2013.

Physiotherapist

Only 17 years old Bick began training as a physiotherapist. Parallel to the footballer career, he completed advanced training for medical practitioners and acupuncturists. For the 2013/2014 season, Patrick Bick Head of Physiotherapy at the first division club Eintracht Braunschweig.

Bick has a son (born 3 April 2007).
