Patrick Côté (biathlon)

Patrick Côté (born 6 February 1985 in Grand -Sault ) is a Canadian biathlete.

Patrick Côté lives in Canmore and starts for Biathlon NB. His coaches were previously Matthias Ahrens, Richard Boruta and Roger Archambault. In 1998 he came in contact with winter sports, as he sought as then active cyclists a training sport for the winter. He quickly moved all the way to winter sports and launched in 2000 for the first time in a biathlon race. Between 2001 and 2003, he was three times in a row biathlon champion of New Brunswick. In 2004 he also started at the cross-country championships in Canada and was 30 km sixth. In the Canadian Biathlon Championships of the year he won gold in the relay. The following year he was in Edmonton third in the sprint and mass start. 2005 was also the year of his first international appearances. In Kontiolahti he went to in his only World Junior Championships. Best result in a single race was eleventh place in singles.
