Patrick Kron
Patrick Kron ( born September 26, 1953 in Paris) since 2003 has been Chairman and CEO of Alstom.
Patrick Kron studied engineering at the École Polytechnique in Paris ( and then in the prestigious Corps des Mines ). From 1979 to 1984 he worked at the French Ministry of Industry.
In today belonging to the group Pechiney Alcan Group, he had a leading role in the production in Greece and then took over the leadership of the Greek branch. In 1988 he took over the management of the sector Electrometallurgy, 1993, he came to the top management of the Pechiney Group and was appointed Head of Carbone Lorraine.
In 1998, he became CEO of Imerys, a world leader ligand group in the mineral processing.
In January 2003, he was CEO of Alstom and released in March of the same year Pierre Bilger as Chairman from.
On 30 September 2004, he was aufgenohmen as a Chevalier in the Legion of Honor. November 18th, 2007 he is a member of the officer in the National Order of Merit Range.
