Patrick Lindner
Patrick Lindner ( born September 27, 1960 in Munich; actually Friedrich Günther Raab ) is a German pop singer.
Life
Lindner worked as a chef before with the song The Runt door to paradise took second place at the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1989 and then made the breakthrough. This was followed by many successful singles and albums, which came as his first hit from the pen of composer Jean Frankfurter and the writer Irma Holder. Lindner was protagonist of several TV shows, personally included Patrick Lindner and A day with good friends and Patrick Lindner Show on ZDF (until 1998). He participated in several German TV series like SOKO 5113 or The Love Boat with guest appearances.
1997 Lindner turned away with the album Heaven Far from the popular hit, more modern pop tunes. This stylistic orientation, he remained faithful for four more albums. In 1999 he took the title A little sun, a little rain on the German preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest 1999, where he finished sixth.
In 2005 he published together with the Thilo Wolf Big Band Album Gigolo, which contained known, mostly English-speaking Swing title. In the same year Patrick Lindner played in the RTL cooking show with In Hell's Kitchen, and was crowned the winner there.
The Munich District Court sentenced Patrick Lindner in 2005 to a fine of 150,000 euros. Lindner had losses from the rental of his villa in Munich- Grünwald to his then-boyfriend stated at the tax office, although he himself lived there with this. Accordingly, the pop star hid the tax authorities income of 100,000 euros.
In 2006 he released the album The sun is for everyone. This led to a renewed collaboration with Jean Frankfurter and Irma Holder. In addition to some popular songs found on the album again several folk songs. With the title like a shower of stars in the night, Patrick Lindner qualified thanks to the second place in the German preliminary round of the Grand Prix of folk music for the international final, where he finished sixth.
On 18 October 2008, he was in the lead role as a chef Patrick in the TV movie The music hotel on Wolfgangsee on ARD, ORF 2 and see the sender SF 1.

In 1999, he adopted his then eight- month-old son, a Russian foster child.
Patrick Lindner took 2012 on the fifth season of RTL - dance show "Let 's Dance" part. His professional dance partner was Isabel Edvardsson. The couple retired in the seventh episode and was ranked sixth
