Patrick McHenry

Patrick Timothy McHenry ( born October 22, 1975 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an American politician. Since 2005 he represents the state of North Carolina in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Patrick McHenry attended to 1994 Ashbrook High School in Gastonia. He then studied at North Carolina State University in Raleigh and then to 1999 at Belmont Abbey College. He then worked as a realtor.

Politically, McHenry joined the Republican Party. In 2001, he received a position at the U.S. Department of Labor. From 2002 to 2004 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from North Carolina. In the congressional elections of 2004, McHenry was the tenth constituency of North Carolina in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Cass Ballenger on January 3, 2005. After the previous three elections, he can exercise his mandate in Congress today. He is a member of the Finance Committee and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and in five sub-committees.
